Matt Willett

My name is Matt Willett, I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I am 28 years old and am currently attending the Professional Golfers Career College (PGCC) in Temecula, CA. I have decided to dedicate my life to Golf. I know I am qualified for this position and know how much I can offer with my extensive knowledge and passion for Golf.

During my time at PGCC I have intensively studied the Rules of Golf and understand them, I have worked as a member of our school’s tournament committee and understand the importance of each position in the committee and am also proficient with Golf Genius. I have worked as an outside service member, in the golf shop, picking the range, cleaning members clubs etc. Also, I am very aware that the first and foremost most important thing as anyone working at any Golf facility is that customer service is what makes the entire operation either extremely special or not.

Reason being is, I am knowledgeable and aware that in order to be an Assistant Golf Professional, having the entire Golf operation running together and efficiently is very important. I have also been teaching Jr. Lessons for TheFirstTee for the 14 months, which is a Jr. Golf program recognized by the PGA. I have been teaching private lessons to adults and consider myself a great coach. For example, I have been complimented many times by parents about my teaching style and techniques. And I know that I can bring all those skills to your Golf Club and help run it as the Assistant Golf Professional.
