My goal is to make learning golf fun using video tools, simple techniques and golf course play. The majority of my students are long term, 3-10 years. We teach all levels, beginner to advanced. Many students starting as complete beginners, turn to become an avid golfers! Its fun to see the eyes light up when students start hitting the ball.

How did you get started teaching?
With a background in designing 401(k) plans for over 30 years, teaching kids was a hobby. After the 2008 stock market crash, my hobby became a business of over 150 students. I found that I really enjoyed working with beginner students, I retired from the pension business and concentrated on working on my golf school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've been fortunate to work with all levels of golfers, beginner to advanced. Like the tour players, advanced players and myself, sometimes need someone to analyze our swing. Usually a minor adjustment turns into a big gain.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Of course The Masters, The Buick at Torrey Pines and watching Angels baseball.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are compatible, you like his instruction, and enjoy taking the lesson.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First question is what would l like to learn? What part of my game needs the most work? Most students forget that the short game, putting and chipping, can really improve their score. Most students concentrate only on the swing and driver only.
