About
I've been the head teaching professional in Long Beach for over 15 years. I've been nominated for Teacher of the Year by the Southern California PGA 3 times. I've been teaching golf since I entered into the PGA in 1996. Recreation Park Golf Course offers a full driving range and short game area. I teach all levels from total beginners to the professional level. I am the host and creator of America's Golf Coach. It's a coaching competition I created for teaching professionals. I also run the Tee Off Together Foundation. We intoduce golf to the inner city kids and provide clubs and instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start with the fundamentals, grip, set up, posture, backswing & forward swing. Once confidence with irons and driver. I move into the short game area, chipping, pitching, sand and putting.
Once confidence in this area, we go Play! Recreation Park is a fun non threating atmosphere that people really enjoy!
