Chris and Janene are the best. I’ve been riding off and on since I was a kid, and have ridden with a lot of different trainers over the years. They’re both such great teachers and really take the time to explain things. They’re also great horse people, making the welfare and safety of both horse and rider a top priority. Best of all, they make riding so fun. It’s not an easy thing to learn to ride well, but they’re committed to making you and your horse (your “silent partner!”) into a great team, regardless of your experience level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like the student to tell me what their goals are and what they would like to achieve. I will set obtainable goals for them and encourage to push past their goals while ensuring safety is number one priority!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have coached and trained for over 35 years...I have competed at all levels over the years in hunters, jumpers and equitation.
