Whether it's being able to play a blues passage, rock progression or. classical piece etc... I can see it with a smile. Also helping a student learn to perform live infront of an audience. I have been teaching for over 30 years and do it with a real passion for helping people learn music....

I have extensive experience as a pianist and organist but also as a composer, music director, vocalist, percussionist, guitarist, and bassist. I am able to draw from all of my epxerience and knowledge to help you learn not just the instrument you study but also music in general. I can help you learn theory, sightreading, improvisation, composition, performance practice, and many more topics beyond simply learning pieces and technique. I most enjoy watching my students develop their skills and learn to love music. I also really enjoy seeing how my students interpret the music they play and how their personality influences their playing....

Teaches piano students of all levels, Scott is an experienced classical pianist having played the piano for 24years himself. Scott can identify common mistakes and quickly adjust them during the lesson, provide both applied music methods and theory based training for all levels of musicians. Students have included but not limited to: young students preparing for ABRSM or equivalent exams and auditions, kids beginning to learn a new instrument, music theory and ear training with the aid of keyboard, young adults and adult learners wishing to speed up their knowledge of the keyboard, chamber collaborations, two pianos/ accompanying gigs.
