I was in ballet for 10 years as a child, then progressed to yoga & pilates which I discovered the value of knowledge behind the awareness of the body in space. I have just relocated from NYC, where I spent 3 years teaching interpretive movement classes as well as mat Pilates classes.
Pilates, yoga, movement, and flow are not only beneficial for the physical body, but more than anything, the mental composition of thoughts and emotions. If we know our physical and mental selves, navigating through everything becomes more efficient and in control. Posture is key, as gravity forms around the way we articulate our every movement in space.
