Weina Chen received her BM degree in flute and piano performance with highest honor and was invited to be a faculty member in the Music Department of Soochow University, Taipei in 1990. From 1992-1995, Ms. Weina studied at Berlin Techniche Universität, Germany majoring in Systematic Musicology. After arriving at USA in 1996, Ms. Weina continued her flute studies and received MM degree at CSULA. Hi, I studied music composition at the UNAM University in Mexico City. I have taught people of all ages and levels to learn and improve their ability to play the piano and guitar. I have composed and produced music for television, film, commercials, local bands, etc. I have great patience and a great sense of humor. I have 27 years of experience teaching children from 4 to college. I establish a good foundation at early on. I focus on techniques which are the tools like paint brushes to painters. But the inspiring the imagination is what a every child unique and is also the most enjoyable part of making music. My students do examinations, competitions, recitals, and some just want to enjoy playing music. Most of my students enjoy playing piano and proud of what they can do and achieve.
