I have just retired from a 36 year career teaching instrumental music. I have my Bachelor’s degree in music education, my masters degree in music and a teaching credential in music.

I am a student at UCR. I have completed level 8 of OMTA's Syllabus evaluations and am planning on completing level 10 at point in time. I am willing to teach anyone at any skill level so long as they are cooperative (I am learning to teach as well :)) Most that I run into at UCR are at varying skill levels and I wish to help increase the overall average of skill. What ever piece of music you wish to learn, I will do my best to help you learn it. My teaching will be generally focused around general ability for both piano and music theory since both work hand in hand together. I cam go over more things about myself when calls are made.

I studied music at RCC and CSUF. I have been playing trombone for 30 years, and have performed all around the world. I was trained in paint and other coatings from Behr, Ralph Lauren, Martha Stewert, Valspar and Sherwin William's. I am a published poet. I like helping people feel confident about that they do.
