About this pro

As a Certified Personal Coach at GOLFTEC and a PGA Class "A" Golf Professional, My approach to teaching students varies from student to student; no player is the same. I believe the talent is in the player and I help educate students on why they do what they swing as they do.

Teaching the fundamentals and taking the time to listen to the student is very important to their success. I am a firm believer in practice with a purpose and use drills to keep the game exciting.

I am currently instructing at GOLFTEC in San Jose. California. Please feel free to reachout to me via phone 408-243-4653. Would be more than happy to explain to you about our lessons plans.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

As I work with new students, I see each student is different. I look at them as a finger print in that each one is different. Meaning that each one has their own style of learning and understanding and it is up to me as a Professional to help them undersand the game of golf in the best manner as possible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

GOLFTEC Certified Golf Coach

Member of the PGA as a  "Class A" Golf Teaching Professional.

I have over 15+ years of experience teaching students from junior level to adult including all skill levels from beginning to high level players.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

I have always had a passion for teaching/ coaching. I was a basketball coach for over 15 years. Coaching ages from 8 to 17- from travel teams to high school.

I have been playing golf for over 30 years. I have always had the knack to be able to teach and communicate well with all levels of students.

My passion has always been golf and I began teaching in junior camps and it just snowballed into other oppprtunities to where it became my career goal to become a "Class A professional of the PGA of America"

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked wth all types of golfers from beginners to advanced, Junior golfers and senior golfers.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I have been working with Nike Junior camps for the last three years. I have received many compliments from the parents of the students on how their children enjoyed the camps because I made them feel comfortable and was able to grow their confidence in their abilities.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would tell them to look for a teacher/ coach that you feel comfortable with and have chemistry with.

I strive to get to know my students in other ways so that I can better communicate and coach them so that they can reach their full potentials and their individual goals.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about what they want to achieve and work on in their personal goals.

How much dedication are they willing to put forth to achieve their goals.

Understand that success does not come easily and it will take comittment to be successful.
