About

Provide English horse riding lessons specializing in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation from beginner level to the serious competitor. We attend all major shows on the West Coast.

Will travel to private facilities if requested.

We encourage all levels of riders to join our team in hopes of being the best horsewoman/man we can be. We enjoy teaching our students to learn all they want to learn about horsemanship as well as skills in the tack. We encourage curiosity, determination, and a positive attitude because we believe learning should also be fun!

    Frequently asked questions

A new student will need to schedule an assessment where we determine their current level of riding ability and what their goals are. From there a comprehensive program is developed for each student individually to attain their goals.

Qualified for the World Cup Finals in 2001. Competed at all the major A shows on the West Coast of California. I have worked for some of the top trainers who have competed at the Olympic level and this, combined with my experience has provided me a solid background and wealth of knowledge to pass on to my students.

A single lesson costs $130. The initial lesson will be a private lesson in order to tailor the training according to the students needs. Discounted monthly lesson packages are available thereafter.

I have been involved with the sport since I was 8, and went on to start teaching informally while I was still in school. From there I worked professionally in the sport, before taking a break for 10 years to obtain a business degree and pursue a career in fianance as a CPA. However, riding has always been my passion so I decided to get back to what I love and ride, compete and teach again.

I work with students of all ages from 10 years old to those in their 50's.

Like any industry there are good places to learn at, and some not so good places.

I would advise on an individual lesson initially. This ensures that your safety is put first until you have established sufficient riding skills to be in a group. An individual lesson ensures that the trainers focus and attention is 100% on you.

I would also ask the trainer as to their experience and background in competing and training other riders. You want someone who has some level of achievement in their background, and extensive experience in order to impart this knowlege to you.

What are their riding goals? Do they want to learn to trot, canter? Jump? Compete? How often would the trainer suggest that they come a week to achieve this?
