Esprit de Core Pilates Studio offers one-on-one sessions, duets, trios, and quads on the Pilates equipment and on the mat for optimal results. We recognize that every student is unique and therefore requires an approach to Pilates training that is tailored to their condition and needs.
Our experienced instructors have developed their own array of specializations and teaching styles, and they will create an individualized practice for you that will help you achieve your goals. Their backgrounds as dancers, personal trainers, athletes, outdoor adventure enthusiasts, and ongoing students of movement, make our staff creative, well-rounded, and knowledgeable.
We can work with you to rehabilitate an injury, for pre- and post-natal health, for specific sports performance (golf, tennis, running, cycling, skiing, riding, to name a few), for general strength and conditioning, and for the senior population to help improve the quality and functionality of daily living. We also offer in-home Pilates sessions for those who prefer not to, or are unable to leave their homes.
At the studio, we predominantly work with clients in one-on-one or duet sessions, but do offer trios and quads as well.
First and foremost, I love helping new clients to feel more comfortable in their own bodies, and that movement can be fun and painless.
I also love that Pilates helps people heal from injuries and learn how to move in ways that will prevent injuries.
The reason I became an instructor is because Pilates not only helped me heal from some old injuries, it also taught me body awareness that I carry into my everyday life. My favorite moments are when clients tell me that they were carrying groceries, picking up a grandchild, or trying a new sport, and they remembered something they learned at the studio that helped them do that activity more easily and without hurting themselves.

If you are new to our studio, we offer an introductory session for $50. This 45 minute one-on-one session will begin with a physical assessment and posture analysis, and review your physical and medical history. We will also discuss any specific goals that you would like to achieve. The rest of the session will acquaint you with the fundamental concepts and movements of Pilates. You will be moving and experiencing Pilates during this first session.
After your introductory session, an individual program is designed for you. The program created will be stimulating, strengthening, balancing, and most importantly, fun! After 5 to 10 sessions, you will have the option of continuing with one on one sessions, or adding duets, trios and/or mat classes to your program, as appropriate.
