Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
An $75, 1hr introductory assessment is made utilizing all areas of measurement. Based on results, a plan of focus is created. If you choose to proceed with lessons, the $75 will be credited towards your package of choice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
See website bio for all certifications, education and training. Additionally, I am 20 year PGA Member
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We specialize in long-term growth. Erradicating old motor patterns and creating new ones does not happen with golf tips. Specific info is needed, adaptablity in a plan is needed and committment is need. Our packages are all set to help you succeed in your goals. All pricing is detailed on our website.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching at my first job as an Assistant Golf Professional in 1996. I moved from golf operations to full time instruction in 2012.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with beginners to touring professionals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Cutting corners with tips prolongs your ability to improve. Looking for discount instruction might work, but also might take you 2-3 times longer; costing you more in the longrun. Typical driving range lessons do not address the flaw in your skills and video lessons alone can be very misleading. I change skills by using defined performace metrics, not assumptions or just saying you are getting better.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students always focus on how they look vs what is the issue with performance. Additionally, most students over-estimate their physical capabilities thinking they can swing a certain way, when their physicality will not allow it.
