What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Whether you are a beginner or someone who has golf experience, we will start with the grip, alignment and posture. From a quick fix to a complete overhaul of your swing, we can develop a plan to get you the results you want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates degree in golf management and I am currently a PGA Apprentice pursuing my class A teaching certificate. I have taught kids and adults both individually and in a clinic setting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rates are as follows:
1/2 hour $45
1 hour $100
5 - 1/2 hour $200
5 - 1 hour $350
juniors- $30 1/2 hour
How did you get started teaching?
I started working at a golf course and started teaching. I have read and studied many methods and teaching philosophies.
What types of students have you worked with?
i have worked with all types of students, from beginners to advanced tournament players.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy my junior clinics on Saturdays and watching my young golfers develop their games and having fun with golf.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A student and teacher need to make a connection. Pick the right teacher for you, one that can help you achieve your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Can the instructor communicate and articulate what he/she is explaining?
