I am a Teacher at Heart: I became a Montessori Elementary School teacher in Honolulu in 1985. I have been coaching swimming and golf to children and adults for over 40 years...it is my Passion to Teach!

GOLF AND SWIMMING INSTRUCTION HIGHLIGHTS

Golf:

In 1998, I earned Membership to the PGA and have taught golf lessons at PGA Golf Clubs in Arizona, Colorado and the Napa Valley.

Travel to my home course in the Napa Valley for lessons or, with your golf facility's permission, I will travel to you. The cost for me to come to you is $15/hr. travel time plus the lesson fee, gas included.

Advanced players may want a private, ($80/hr) one-lesson brush up that will enhance your knowledge and improve your game.

Or prepay for a series of lessons for beginners or more advanced players needing to brush up on the foundations of all aspects of the Great Game of Golf:

6 - 1 hour lessons for $400: 1 lesson free!

This includes principles of the pre-shot routine (grip, aim, set-up), full swing, chipping, putting, trouble shots (partial swings, rough, fairway and greenside sand, uneven lies: uphill, downhill, sidehill), rules, etiquette, ready golf, etc.

It is well worth the money if you would like golf lessons from an 22-year member of the PGA. I have been instructing golf to Jr's and Adults for decades!

Swimming

I joined the Napa Swim Club at 6 years old and swam for the Vintage High School Crushers. I became an 11-time All American for the Chico State Wildcat Swim Team and was a member of the UCLA Bruins 1982 NCAA National Champion Swim Team.

I started teaching swimming as a 15 year-old for the Napa Recreation Commision, coached for the Santa Rosa Neptunes and Santa Rosa HS. I moved to Hawaii in 1985 and coached for Punahou School and Punahou Aquatics in Honolulu, moving on to coach USA swim teams, US Masters swim teams and High School swim teams in Arizona, Colorado and again in Napa.

I work with non-swimmers, mostly young children, in my small pool at home in Napa for $25 per 1/2 hour lesson. I also do work with fearful students of any age - including adults. I will help you or your child get over fear of water.

I will travel to your pool, or one that you can arrange, to teach any level/any age student The cost for me to travel to you is $15/hr. for travel time plus the lesson fee, fuel included.

It is well worth the money if you or your child is fearful or if you want to or want your child to learn all of the strokes and lifesaving from an experienced swim coach: I have been coaching USA age group, high school and USMS Masters swimmers for decades!

I love conveying my experience and knowledge to children and adults: there is nothing like the smile of a student that has overcome their challenge!
