He brings a lovely blend of discipline and fun to his students, which keeps them engaged and interested, while also fostering the love of the instrument they play. My son’s love of the cello seems to be reinvigorated after each lesson. We drive from south Orange County to Costa Mesa for lessons, and it is absolutely worth it. I could never sing my favorite songs because of the high notes. I had a hard time reaching them. So I searched for singing lessons near Irvine and found Catherine's Music Studio. I used to be so embsarrassed singing in front of people. Catherine helped me develop and drastically increased my vocal range. I had been singing the wrong way all this time! Catherine taught me the proper way to sing a high note. She helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of my singing in front of people. Eiki is not only the best music teacher I've had, but also one of the best teachers I've had in general. She has a lot of experience under her belt and you can tell she knows what she is doing when you sit down at a lesson with her (regardless of your level of piano competency).
