Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students are welcome to call us or email us when they'd like to speak with our Club Director.
Then, they book an Introductory Ride so that their skill level can be assessed.
When the Instructor has a good idea of their skill set, a suitable horse is chosen for the student.
As the student advances, they will graduate to other horses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the American Riding Instructors Association and have been teaching for 30 years.
I also have a degree in Animal Behavior and Wellfare.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our Introductory Lesson Price is $75.00. This lesson usually takes an hour or more.
Then, we offer two different Membership prices. The Club Membership depends on how often the Student wishes to ride:
Associate Membership $500.00 per month
Includes: Riding twice a week (1 Lesson and 1 solo or trail ride)
Full Membership: $800.00 per month
Includes: Riding three times per week ( 1 lesson and 2 solo/trail rides)
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching because I trained to become a Riding Instructor. I went to school to learn Classic Dressage; Practice and Theory. I then apprenticed under a World Champion Western Trainer to learn the western disciplines.
I continued to apprentice and train to become an International Competitor and Horse Breeder.
