Hello my fellow golf fanatics,
I am known in certain circles as The Swing Doctor and I can fix or improve just about anyone's swing, from Charles Barkley to Tiger Woods (and Tiger, if you're out there observing, all I need is a half hour with you, but I won't charge you more 'just cause you're rich').
I have coached every type from toddlers to mini-tour pros. One of my brief sessions with a mini-tour player and friend of mine who had plateaued in prior years led him straight to improvement that helped him qualify for the U.S. Open. I also have many years as a Caddie, so if you are good enough, who knows, I may be of service there too (as a Coach-Caddie).
I give my 'first lesson is on me' guarantee simply because I am NOT PGA-Certified but experienced-enough to be 100% confident that I can improve almost anyone's swing (save the likes of Louis Oouisteheizen and Hunter Mahan). The chances of you returning to pay me for more lessons are so great that I'm willing to stake MY TIME on it (that should tell you all you need to know about my qualifications).
I am working on my website and skype technology, but I am willing to do meetups and "house-calls" in the meantime.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1) Warmup with student (includes golf stretches, practice swings, pre-analysis, surveying of current golf-swing and setup thoughts, and ball-striking warm-up)
2) Formal analysis: Wedge, mid-iron, long-iron, wood, Driver.
3) Grip Analysis and helps
4) Formal Swing Adjustments, Analysis, and Spot-On Feedback (with special 'ball-feed on the fly' service)
5) Analysis of post change results (by the numbers)
6) Parting thoughts and recommendations for practice and play (homework prescription)
7) Warm-down/post-practice stretch and Send-off
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's in Sociology that crosses-over to good mental-game coaching, but my experience watching professionals live, caddying for them, listening to the pros I have worked with as they teached (@Pelican Hill, Continental Country Club, Big Camyon, Lost Canyons (Eddie Merrins, etc.), studying all the books of the great Masters from Ben Hogan to Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods as well as years of interviews and Lessons From the Pros all the way up to current ones with Jordan Spieth, Louis Oouisteheizen, Jason Day, Rory McElroy,..., and having once played to a +2 handicap myself have all culminated in my current teching abilities.

How did you get started teaching?
Taught friends very successfully, then friends who were pros successfully, then successfully as an alternate when our certified PGA pros at Continental Country Club were all booked-up.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love seeing players like Louis Oouisteheizen and Rory McElroy, players who I called "the best swingers in the game" years ago, dominating players like Tiger, who's swing I denounced, proving my theories as 'spot-on'.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are an 18-handicapper or better and the teacher gives you more than two main points to a lesson, find a new teacher.
If you are a beginner, and the teacher doesn't focus on getting you to develop an effective, memorable grip-taking procedure before every golf shot, get a new teacher.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should be looking to hear verbiage that guarantees their improvement. Otherwise the teacher is not confident-enough in their own teaching abilities, OR they are not smart enough to communicate them, neither of which is good.
