Laura is an amazing teacher. I'm 20 years old and have been on and off with the piano for years. Being as I compose and play by ear, she has done an excellent job at perfecting my piano skills, as well as sparking new appreciation with music as a whole. The results have been night and day, and my compositions and understanding of music theory has never been better. She will do her absolute best to make sure you get to where you want to be whether it's to get better at chord theory, technique, or melody training. No matter what kind of learner you are, she can adjust and make sure you understand / properly utilize the concepts and strategies needed for you to get better at playing Piano the way you want to play. I highly suggest that if you're like me and you're wanting to get past that skill barrier, Laura will help you to become the piano player that you always wanted to be.

Orange Music Studio was definitely one of the highlights of my high school career! I took lessons from Gala Yaroshevsky for roughly two years and she was one of the most passionate and influential teachers I've had in my life. She has the ability to go far beyond just teaching the notes and techniques and makes music such an immersive, enjoyable, and unique experience for her students. She guided me through the Advanced level of the Certificate of Merit and both the Flute Choirs and Philharmonic Orchestra of the San Jose Youth Symphony. Alison taught lessons to me and my kids. It was a lot of fun. She was great with the kids and provided me with challenging pieces. She is technically competent and has a really great relaxed teaching style.
