STRIDES Riding Academy is a lesson and training program focused on a strong horsemanship foundation for beginner through advanced riders and horses.
Our trainers work as a team to bring out the best in each horse and rider building confidence in our students both in and out of the saddle.
STRIDES has extensive programs for the beginner rider to start their equestrian career on our well schooled lesson horses and ponies. In addition to year-round lessons, we offer camps, clinics, schooling shows and other educational opportunities.
I love watching riders develop confidence from the horses that translates to other areas of their lives. Working with the horses empowers our riders in and out of the saddle.

Strides is a wonderful riding facility and experience. We love the flexibility of the days/times as well as riding plans to suit every type of rider from the most “serious” to the recreational rider. What’s so special about Strides is that they really try to gauge the “why” and goals to get a deeper understanding of the rider. By doing this they can offer an optimized plan and take steps towards said goals. Strides provides a safe environment to learn and feel like you are part of something special.

My daughter’s experience is a 10! But for parents new to the equestrian world, this barn has THE best people to help you keep pace with your rider! Maggie is kind and encouraging with the riders and works toward their goals in a safe, but challenging training plan. With the IEA teams, the other parents and riders are amazing, coming together to have fun and support each other.

The staff is professional and fun. My daughter loves Strides and has learned so much this past year and a half. The lesson horses are wonderful and are very well taken care of. We just live the time we spend at the barn and all the Strides family
