Successful junior and high school golf career. I coach my kids and family all the time. I currently maintain a scratch handicap. I learned golf around the age of 10 going to USGA golf camps and I still remember key lessons and tips I had growing up. However, throughout most of my life I have been my own swing coach. I have always been visual learner and teach this way as well. I prefer to coach athletes. Why? I am an athlete myself and want to give you the mental tools to be successful. 90% of golf is mental and its not about the mechanics of the swing. Its about adapting your mind to what your body wants the club to naturally do. I will give you dozens of tips to help with course management and reducing errors. Bring a journal because these are things you will remember for the rest of your golf career. Tiger Woods is a great example of someone who has become mentally paralyzed in recent years due of too many mechanical swing thoughts. He is constantly changing swing coaches and doesn't focus enough on what comes naturally to himself. Making drastic changes in a golf swing is extremely hard to do as an adult.Happy to sessions on Skype. I am usually able to see a few things immediately in a swing that will immediately help you be more consistent and accurate. Just a golf club in hand and a few air swings can show a lot.
