Music has been my passion as long as I can remember. I have been playing and teaching professionally since I graduated from Cal State L.A. A life time in music as pianist, conductor, and teacher has made me uniquely qualified to teach Jazz, Classical, Salsa, and Gospel piano. I am a pianist with a rich musical background and a passion for teaching. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano. During my university years, I embarked on my teaching career, which has spanned over 25 years, even after immigrating to the United States. While living in Europe for three years, I continued to teach piano. I organized regular student recitals once a year, fostering a platform for my students to showcase their talent. My teaching method's primary goal is to create a life long passion for music in my students by prioritizing self expression and performance. I try to make sure that my students have composed or recorded music which utilizes the technique or method of the days lesson every lesson. My experience running the independent record label, Kairos Core Records, has given me a unique insight to the creative process which I want to give to all my students as I believe self expression is the strongest motivator for a musician.
