Hi, I’m Ming. Nice to meet you! I recently moved to Rancho Cucamonga after I graduated from the University of Kansas with my doctoral degree in piano performance and piano pedagogy. I have been teaching private piano for four years for all ages of students, from 5-year-old to adult students. It is always inspiring and fun to work with different students. My goal is to bring joy and achievement to students’ life. Anyone can learn to play and it’s never too late! During my education, I have studied music theory extensively. Music has been my passion as long as I can remember. I have been playing and teaching professionally since I graduated from Cal State L.A. A life time in music as pianist, conductor, and teacher has made me uniquely qualified to teach Jazz, Classical, Salsa, and Gospel piano. My goal as a teacher is to instill in my students that same love of music. Above all – playing well is just plain fun!

I'm a Graduate Music Education student with three years of teaching experience. I offer piano, composition, and general music lessons from beginner to intermediate levels. I'm classically trained since childhood, but I don't necessarily stick to a strict agenda while teaching. Instead, I like to adjust the lessons to the needs of my student.
