I offer a coordinated approach to piano instruction for beginning and intermediate students as well as systematic professional training for advanced students and adults. My teaching practice is based on a synthesis of Russian and American methods of piano schools.

I have been teaching guitar professionally at the same music studio in Cameron Park since 1999, teaching an average of 50 students a week for that 20 year period! I have been a lifelong musician, you can find me on YouTube playing just about every style of guitar. I know I can help you!

I began teaching 40 years ago as a requirement of my study in Piano Performance at UCI. I have enjoyed every year of my life as a music instructor. I am a much better teacher today than I was when I began. The art of teaching never ends. Our students always have one more piece of the puzzle to fill in. I am a member of the Music Teachers Association of California as well as MTNA. I taught AP Music for the El Dorado Distrist for 3 years.
