I'm a professional playing golfer and play tours in arizona
florida , Texas , New Mexico , and California .
i have been playing golf since I was 4 years old and taught
by some of the best golfers that ever played: billy casper,
gene littler, Phil Rodgers, and lee Trevino. My knowledge and skills I teach is thru the experience I had with all of these pros

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Try to find out what experience they have of playing golf and start teaching from there. If I see there is potential for more detail lessons other than the basic golf swing I also teach them

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for over 30 years of competition and teaching the air game and the land game from start to the finish of what ever lesson we cover

How did you get started teaching?
i was learn the game at the age of four years old and keep
practicing and playing on my own. Then I was intoduced
to some of the greatest golfers in my life and they all gave me personal tips from the long game to the short game
What types of students have you worked with?
i have worked with all types form the beginner
to the professional level . I see things other instructors
don't so this gives me an advantage of helping my students
learn faster and easier
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
probably the most fondest event ever was to watch lee trevino
hit balls for 2 hours . Just him and I were by our selves and he was showing me different ways to hit different types of shots
in different types of conditions on different types of lies
with different types of clubs. He was just amazing. Probaly the greatest ball sticker next to Ben hogan ever.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
find one you like and your comfortable with so you can get
an easier understanding of taking lessons from the driver
to the putter and stay with one instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
how serious they want to be in golf
how much they want to learn
how patient they have to be
