Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting a new rider..I like to have a meet and greet at the farm. It's nice way to get to know the prospective rider. After we have had a chance to talk..we will book a riding time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a horse trainer and riding instructor for 25yrs. I've competed all over the United States and Canada. My training barn has many local..regional and national titles. Before I became a professional rider and trainer. I competed as a amateur rider/owner. I've worked with many trainers and many riding clinics for personal knowledge and growth.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My riding program has many levels
From the young rider to the returning rider eager to return to riding. Please contact me personally for a quote.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I changed my rider status from amateur to professional. I wanted to share my riding knowledge with up and coming riders. I enjoy teaching rider how to ride and enjoy horses.
I like to teach on a private basis, so that riders will have the personal attention to detail of riding.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with many types of riders. I believe every rider brings a new experience to teaching. I believe in personal growth of a rider at a pace that suits the rider.
