I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough as a horseback riding trainer! I had the privilege of training with her for about two years, and in that time, I learned so much—not just about riding but also about understanding and connecting with horses. She is kind, fun, and deeply compassionate, with a true love for animals that shines through in everything she does.
Rachel has an incredible ability to tailor her lessons to both the rider and the horse. She always takes into account how the horses are feeling, as well as the needs and confidence levels of her students. Her focus on safety is unwavering, and at the same time, she builds riders up in a way that fosters both skill and confidence. I have seen firsthand how much growth other riders experience under her guidance, from beginners to advanced equestrians.
Her horses and ponies are fantastic—well-trained, well-cared-for, and an absolute joy to ride. I’ve been with Rachel for the past two years, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. She has a rare and beautiful way of teaching that leaves you feeling like you’ve gained something truly valuable after every lesson. Rachel is truly one in a million—her kindness, patience, and passion for what she does make every session both enjoyable and inspiring.
One of the things I appreciate most is how present and attentive she is; I’ve never had a lesson where I didn’t feel like I had her full focus and support.
