About
I am only one of a few TPI level 3 certified golf instructor in California; I have a deeper understanding of golf swing as I have a solid foundation in bio-mechanics, how to generate ground force, the correct sequence and body parameters in each phase of the golf swing. How the swing fault is related to player's body characteristics such as strength and flexibility ;

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with George Gankans, a top 11 golf instructor in the Nation, George has revitalized the famouse Pivot and Turn technique to maximize the torque with use ground force effectively.
I follow Hank Haney's teaching system for intermediate and advancd player aiming to low the handicap.
I am also a GSA (Golf Smart Academy) Level 2 Cerfited golf Instructor by Tyler Ferrell , Tyler is a top Young Golf instructor in the Nation. He uses thousands of PGA tour player's swing data with 3D analysis and come up with swing patterns and club and body movements that worked for tour players. I will teach students to best achieve the body positions as tour players do;
I have been working with Brian Manzella to get certification, Brian is a top golf instructor in the US and a student of Ben Doly- a few original Golf Machine Authorized Instructors in the nation.
I have PhD degree in mechanics which assists in understanding of the body movements and swing connection during golf swing.
I am also a TPI Certified golf instructor Level 3, Titleist Performance Insititue, I will give student recommendations for functional training which will improve flexibility and mobility and gain power and distance.

How did you get started teaching?
I started playing golf at tournament level 20 years ago, started teaching junior and adult golfers several years ago, I have been worked with several top Golf Instructors in the nation, Including George Gankas, and Hank Haney, Brian manzella, Tyler Ferrell; I have been trained by Dave Pelz's putting and short game system; I have adopted George Gankas swing sequence and training system, James Sieckmann's short game solution and Stockton's putting methodology.
Depending on the player's skill level I have a teaching system that will be tailored for each skill level.
For Beginner golfer, I will first teach the 10 positions of the golf swing ( referring Mac Ogrady's 10 position), this will give golfer a big picture of what the full swing looks like; What is the full hip and shoulder turn during backswing, what is the sequence of downswing, what is the spine tilt , shoulder inclination and trail arm postion at impact. it is very important for beginer golfers to understand what is going on at each postion, how arms, hands, shoulders, hip moves at the impact position. I will also give students gudiance for golf fitness and body strength if necessary so that students can make those movements correctly. For serious tournament players, they can consider starting the TPI body strength, stability, mobility evaluation.
What types of students have you worked with?
Both Junior and Adult golfers, skilled or beginner golfers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have organized a meet up events, 4 students participated the full swing event at shoreline link golf courses. Most of the students benefited from the lesson. I got very positive reviews from all students. Three students want to continue the lesson on weekly basis.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should look at the education background of the instrutor, the knowledge level and teaching approach;
The cost of the lesson, and how knowlegable of the instructor's understanding about golf swing, kinematics, mechanics, and biomechanics of body movement.
