Happy horses, happy riders. Over 20 years bringing out the best in horses, dogs, and their handlers. I have a unique and enthusiastic style of training riders and horses. It is a compassionate, multi-dimensional approach. I teach not just the mechanics, but how horses learn, communicate, and how to find the best in every horse. With years of child development, and a having worked with an ecclectic array of trainers within the English riding discipline,(from the racetrack, to Arabians, to dressage, to eventing, to hunters) my firm, nurturing approach is customized to the individual and bolsters the rider with knowledge of how to handle situations, and why a correct leg and seat is the foundation of all good riding.

I have started nine horses myself over the years. I am now elderly and decided to purchase my last horse, looking for someone safe. So what did I do. I fell in love with a three-year-old, never been handled, Andalusian stallion. Realizing the smart thing to do this time was to get help, I was fortunate to meet Dore. She is kind, but firm and her corrections are fair. She has been great at getting a rather reluctant guy to move forward well. He dramatically carried his Hind quarters to the left and she has amazed me at straightening him and getting square holes. She is fun to work with, willing to listen to my concerns, and comes to my home so I don’t have to board at a training stable. I definitely recommend Dore
