Both of our instructors, combined, have worked as instructors, and as trainers for over 40 years. We love horses, and we adore teaching. We focus on one's relationship with the horse. You learn about the horse on the ground, how they perceive things, as well as how ground work influences your time in the riding.
We care that the horse and rider both have a great experience. Most of the horses we work with are rescue horses that we have rehabilitated.

Both Ashley and Susan Jan are seasoned horse women. Together they have been professionals in the field for over 40 years.
We love horses, as is illustrated by our committment to horse rescue. We have a passion for working with students. Introducing students to the world of horses is exciting. It is equally thrilling to work with an advanced student and make a great fit with instructor, horse and facility.
We adore being outdoors with amazing animals in a beautiful setting. One needs to be present when working with horses; that focus when teaching and working with a horse, makes the noise and distractions of our lives and the world fade away--at least for the time when we are in the horse world.
