Horseback riding can be a very rewarding and fulfilling activity, both for the rider and the instructor. As an instructor, teaching horseback riding allows me to share my passion for horses and my knowledge of riding techniques with others.

Gardenia Riding Academy is a family owned riding school, and they treat you like family. They teach riders on how to care for horses and build connections with them. They are patient and always encouraging. I had fun learning riding at Gardenia.

My 7 year old daughter has been having lessons from Kat for almost a year now. She’s had over 30 lessons and still loves going and learning to care for the horses as well as getting the horses to do what she’s asking of them. She’s learned everything from grooming the horses to the tack, equipment you need to be able to ride and also, riding the horse from a walk to a trot and on to a canter. She absolutely loves Kat and her horses.

Kat and Nick provide lots of support to my daughter as a new rider. Kat and Nick are very knowledgeable in this industry and are great with kids. They make my daughter feel safe and comfortable around the horses. She loves Apollo. They also provide a lot of support and engagement to experienced riders like myself. It’s been a great experience.
