Angie LoCascio has been passionate about teaching people how to ride, care and understand horses for over 25 years. She is an award winning trainer who has won Multiple World Titles in English and Western Disciplines as well as coached many youth and amateurs to local, state and World Championships. Her training techniques are based on what she has learned from being a horse trainer and teaches how to ride from your core with a good balanced seat and light hands. Personal private coaching is our specialty and we develop our program to meet our clients individual goals. Whether it's going to shows, owning your own horse or just riding recreationally. We can make your dreams come true! Our lesson and Lease horses are also used on the show circuits so they are highly trained, beautiful, healthy and happy! What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start all of our students with an evaluation lesson. Taking extra time to go over their personal goals, any fears they might have, safety around horses and pairing them with a suitable school horse. We teach them how to groom and saddle their own horse as well as riding both English and western. Depending on what they are interested in learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been riding horses since I was 7yrs old and have been competing since I was 9. I have rode with Multiple World Class trainers through out my life and continue to share training and coaching techniques with my colleagues to this day.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching the public how to ride when I was 16yrs old to help pay for my horses. I received many referrals and developed a following from those early days and have been providing lesson ever since. I have also always run my own businesses and maintain a professional reliable safe atmosphere.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of our students come to us having never ridden or with little to no professional training. But some also come with a long history of riding but are looking to improve their skills. We have worked with all ages from 7 and up who are interested in multiple disciplines including Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Trail Obstacle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Jumper, Dressage and English Pleasure.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently went to a show with a brand new Youth and Amateur Team. They worked really hard getting ready for their first show and everyone was really nervous. I was able to coach them to several Reserve High Point Champion and Top Five wins and everyone came home with a trophy buckle. They were all so elated by their wins and it made me feel so happy to help them achieve their dreams of winning. It makes my life so worthwhile!
