What Andres a great teacher is that he listens to his students carefully. He is excellent at teaching values, colors, temperature, edges, and drawing. He teaches how to compose pictures and sets up still life arrangements with great detail. His explanations are easy to understand, and he snakes even complex concepts simple and does so quite effectively. He responds to questions promptly, always keeps his promises, and engages with his students rather than teaching in a one-way manner. He is very patient and demonstrates painting and drawing techniques, offering a wide variety of methods. I highly recommend him at any level. He can meet you at your level and make you grow.

I could leave a novel length review regarding how good my experience was with my first round of sessions were with Alfredo. I had absolutely no experience painting with oils prior to my classes. As our sessions went on, Alfredo created snd altered my class structure to accommodate what I needed. He didn't just teach me how to put oils on a canvas, but explained the importance of everything from the care and cleaning of your brushes, materials he recommended all the way to explaining color theory, sketching and more. He has played an integral role in me using art and painting to finding peace and putting smiles on my face. I cant wait to see my progress in our next round of sessions. Not only is Alfredo a great instructor, but hes my mentor and my friend. Hes helped a U.S. Marine Combat Veteran find a way to push an illness aside and use art to be happy. I hope I'm able to attach my paintings below. One is my very first completed painting and one about to be completed, and could not look anything like they do with Alfredo's guidance. They are pieces painted prior from other artists.

Wade Goyens, a Storyboarding Wizard and beyond! What great words can't be said about Wade!? A combination of Talent, Skill, Affordability and Flexibility always describes the best attributes we seek in an instructor of any field. Wade's got them all. Within only a year, working with Wade Goyens not only improved my knowledge and abilities (Storyboarding, Character design, Storytelling, Perspective, etc.) in the animation industry but, simultaneously sculpted a personal project of mine from a dream to a reality. Outside of the classroom, he'll go above and beyond by sending inspirational content to keep me motivated through my struggles of day to day life. It's a class I look forward to every week to both learn AND unwind! The only downside I can mention: His generous 2-3 hour sessions are not long enough! After our lessons are complete, I can go on chit chatting with him for days because you see, Wade Goyens is NOT just your mentor. He's also your friend!
