This was the best golf lesson of my life! He really helped me understand the swing and got me hitting it like a pro! Highly recommend!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

There is no one size fits all formula when working with any student. Everyone has their own unique learning style.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've played golf since I was 4 years old. I grew up playing with tour pros (Tom Perniece, Rickie Fowler, and Brent Grant to name a few). I was a division I scholarship golfer for California state university Fullerton. I made it to the round of 500 for US Open Qualfiying, the Monday qualifier for the Farmer's insurance open, and played in many great amateur and college tournaments. I've also competed in long drive competitions.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I don't have a standard pricing system for lessons. It depends on a few factors but around $50 for a half hour and $90 for an hour. I also offer on course lessons.

How did you get started teaching?

I can no longer pursue a professional career due to multiple surgeries, and a back injury. I've lived my entire life on a golf course. Golf is a part of my identity and it's something I am very passionate about. I really want to help people become better players.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with many people informally during my career as a golfer. I've had many people ask for swing tips, video break downs, course tips etc.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I'm not a mechanical guy, don't get me wrong I will fix/change your swing but I am a big believer in the concept of everyone has their own unique swing and there is not one perfect swing. I am huge on mental game and proper course management. Without a swing lesson you could score lower if you knew how to take apart a golf course and play it as if it was a game of chess.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

It depends on your level and what you want to accomplish.
