Hi, my name is Diego. I've played tennis since I was in second grade, and I've taught it for more than four years. I was a top-20 player in my state in South America as a junior. In the U.S. I played for the Long Beach City College tennis team, and reached doubles playoffs. I play USTA tournaments, Grand Prix leagues and occasionally Ultimate Tennis. I've taught kids on clay, hard courts, and volunteered as a coach at the Boys and Girls Club in Long Beach. My students have been adult beginners, adult advanced and a female senior. I was an assistant coach at Fullerton College for the Women's Team from 2011 to 2017 and helped them won two consecutive State Championships in 2013 and 2014. I received the ITA California Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2017. I am currently the head coach of Fullerton Union High School Tennis Porgram. RATES AS Follows: Any location for our lesson within a 35-minute drive of Cerritos, CA. I charge $50/hr and a one-time fee of $10 for our first lesson. Also, additional people joining our lesson will be charged an extra $10/hr/PP.
