(Currently working with a waitlist. All lesson spots are filled.) I have been teaching riding lessons for over 24 years. I'm a lifetime member and have been certified thru Certified Horsemanship Assoc. I do private riding lessons starting at age 5. (Past students range from ages 4 to 80!). I teach from the ground up. Instruction includes but is not limited to: haltering, leading, grooming, tacking up, and mounted exercises (walk, trot, canter, etc). We work in an indoor or outdoor arena. With experience, trailrides are also a possibility. 303-548-5340

I am all about sharing in the love of equine. I especially enjoy seeing the joy of the first ride. I love teaching students how to understand their horses and how to communicate effectively and safely.

My daughter absolutely loves her lessons with Tennie! Tennie is great teacher who is good at explaining everything they are working on and makes sure my daughter understands something before they move on to new things. Tennie is also great at giving my daughter confidence by letting her do things independently, while ready to step in at just the right moment. We are so glad we found Tennie!

Beginning lesson for 6 year old with limited experience with horses. Tennie did an amazing job with my son explaining in terms he could understand while keeping his attention. She emphasized safety measures and quickly gave him the confidence he needed to have an enjoyable experience. He had a full experience of equestrian caretaking including applying saddle and grooming. We will definitely be having another lesson with Tennie. She is a gem.

Tennie gives my 13 year old daughter riding lessons. Of all the instructors my daughter has had, Tennie is the most thorough. My daughter is learning a lot and really enjoying riding.
