About this pro

I am a Certified Golf Coach\Instructer by the PGA of America.

26 years of experience, education and dedication to improve the way people play and enjoy golf.

I seek out the way an individual learns and present my lessons to give the best opportunity for communication to produce positive, fun results.

Connecting with people that share a desire and passion for an activity i have loved since I was a young boy. Playing golf with family and friends for fun or pursuing the improvment of competitive golf skills has been a blessing in my life and I love to share that with people of all ages and both sexes.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I work from the golf hole back to the Tee Ground.

The easiest way to learn golf fundamentals, except grip, are in putting. Aiming, set up, posture, and swinging the club through a strike of the ball toward the target must be mastered in putting.

Then the short swing, learning wrist action with a proper golf grip to launch the ball into the air toward a specific target.

Then the full swing working through the set of clubs.

I look to have time in each session on the golf course if possible.

Practice with feedback through drills and exercise is essential.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am PGA of America Certified in teaching/coaching golf.

I learned how to play in competive golf and gave it a try in my younger days. I was always interested in learning about the swing and how to communicate to others what I have learned.

I started teaching in 1987 under the guidance of Scott Brandt

in Park City, Utah.
