Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first few lessons are to get to know the student and evaluate the ability and confidence levels. This varies from student to student so there is not a one size fits all here and we do not do "pony rides." Your lessons are taylored to your meet your personal goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CJ has been riding horses for 40+ years and began training over 30 of those years. In the early years the training was the school of hard knocks, but as she was able she took classes and lessons to learn to be a better partner to the horses and was able to obtain her certifications from both CHA and PATH.
