About
Our horses make our program! All of our horses are either showing or retired show horses. Their knowledge helps our students feel more confident while learning new skills and meeting their goals. Our trainers and horses are proficient in in the Western and English all around events. We want to help you set and achieve your goals whether it's just riding for fun or riding to eventually show ion the AQHA circuit with us.
Tom Forehand- Tom is an accomplished performance horse trainer and specializes in the western pleasure and western riding. He enjoys guiding adults and teens through the process of training in order to achieve the goals they desire. Tom takes his business seriously and knows that learning something new can be stressful. He is known for keeping a sense of humor to help his students stay relaxed and make the most out of each lesson.
Ali Kish- Ali helps beginner, intermediate and advanced riders progress to the next level. Her main focuses are the western pleasure and the Hunter Under Saddle. Ali grew up riding hunter/jumpers and three-day eventing and currently prepares and shows horses on the AQHA show circuit. Ali feels strongly that all horses and riders learn in different ways and at different paces and that lessons should be tailored to match the needs of each horse and rider pair.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introduce rider to horses. Chat about experience, comfort around horses, familiarize student with facility, tack, etc. We spend time explaining and demonstrating our training techniques. We encourage our students to ask questions. It's important that equestrians understand the "why" of dealing with horses on the ground and under saddle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tom and Ali have both been riding horses since they were toddlers. They both showed as youth and amateurs in their different disciplines until transitioning into trainer and assistant trainer. They continue to train horses and clients to show in AQHA Breed shows while showing personal and client horses.
