What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My approach to improving a players golf swing starts with analyzing their swing and the characteristics the individual has. Addressing each individulas physical limitations is the first step in the process. If you are incapeable of getting into certain posistions then you will not be able to perform the golf swing properly. I work with the player to focus on exercises that promote the correct body posistions and swing sequence. Then we work on golf drills that implement the two to the elements to promote consistency and repeatability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with an emphais in Kinesiology. In 2009 I obtained my TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor Certificate.
