With 33 years of experience and unparalleled passion for horses, I have harnessed my dreams and started a training and instruction business based on the principles of safety for horse and rider, proper horsemanship and horse care and lots of fun. Lessons are tailored to each rider's needs and goals. I start from the ground up teaching proper grooming, tacking up and general horse management, providing a solid foundation of basics for each rider to build on. Flexibility, open communication and positive learning are the cornerstones of my program. I aim to maintain an environment free from drama that promotes wholesome learning in a pressure-free environment.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I find out if they have past experience and what their goals are. Based on that information, I tailor my program to their needs but always start with the basics of horsemanship focusing on safety first. I feel that having taught children in various programs over the years and having two children of my own, I have an advantage in connecting with young minds and making the experience of being around horses and riding, one that's informative but also fun.
