About
Because most golfers are stuck—frustrated that they’re putting in time but not seeing results. I know that feeling because I’ve worked with thousands of players who were grinding but getting nowhere. Not because they didn’t care, but because no one ever showed them how to train with purpose.
That’s where I come in.
I don’t do quick tips or one-off lessons that fade in a week. I build complete golfers. I help you understand your swing, your tendencies, your mindset—so you can stop guessing and finally play with confidence. We’ll create a plan that’s actually tailored to you. One that makes sense. One that works. And I’ll be there every step of the way to keep you focused and moving forward.
If you’re tired of feeling like you should be better by now—if you’re ready to turn frustration into progress—then this is your moment.
Let’s change your game for good.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to establish contact and send some goal setting sheets. My process for improvement varies for someone who is looking to get as good as they can versus someone who just wants to not embarass themselves when they are playing in the annual company tournament or with a spouse. It also gives me a feel for what the measuring stick is. Do you want to break a particular number, average a ceratin score, hit so many greens, etc.
Then I like to have them come in for a sit down. Review the goals sheets and talk about where they see their golf games and where they would like to be. It also gives me a chance to see if the goals are in line with the amount of time and energy someone has to put into their game.
After a short discussion, I like to watch someone hit balls. See if what they are showing me lines up with what they are saying... Give them a few suggestions, take some notes about what I see. It also gives them a feel for if they like my coaching style and my personality.
If we both agree that it's a good fit, I will send a Game Optimization Plan. It will outline what I hear your goals are and a suggested gameplan for making those goals a reality. It will also give feedback on what I saw, suggested improvments and drills and games to make the necessary changes.
I am also able to give lessons outdoors at Indian Tree Golf Course. At the agreement of the student, we can plan lessons at either venue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Class "A" PGA Professional. I went through six years of school in order to achieve that certification.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching 16 years ago when I became an apprentice at Aurora Hills Golf Course.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with every variety of student. From professional to complete beginner and everything in between. As young as 5 and old as mid 80s.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very honored and happy to win "Best Instructor" in Colorado in Colorado Avid Golfer Magazine CAGGY awards for 2021.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be willing to ask questions about the process and about the ideas for improvment. Look for someone who communicates in a way that resonates with you. Someone who knows a lot but isn't able to communicate it in a way that makes sense to you is going to confuse and frustrate you more than help.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What level of players have they worked with? How many lessons do they give a month? What would the plan be for how to get started?
