About
My service stands out for many reasons. The main being TRACKMAN. Trackman is the most advanced ball and club tracking technology available in the world. There are very few in Denver, but every PGA/LPGA Tour player and coach uses one. It makes a normal, unproductive swing lesson seem very antiquated and worthless. The really fun part is finishing every lesson with a couples holes on one of 80 courses from around the world on state of the art simulators.
I have been teaching for 11 years. The last 2 years I taught in Portland, OR, and gave over 1200 lessons per year. Before that, I was the Director of Instruction at Eagles Landing Country Club in Atlanta, GA.
As for my teaching style, I am not a cookie-cutter swing teacher. In a perfect world, I would have all of my students try to swing like Adam Scott, but that's not realistic. There are so many different body types and levels of athletic ability. I am passionate about taking what you have and getting you to what you're capable of. There is much more to golf than just the golf swing.
Whether you are a beginner that wants to avoid being embarrassed on the course, or an avid golfer that needs help getting over a hurdle, or a high school player looking to play D1 college golf, or a college player looking to play professionally... I can help you get where you want to be.
I will help you set goals, and lay out a blueprint to achieve them. The blueprint will encompass all aspects of the game.
The bottom line is: I enjoy growing the game of golf and helping people love the game as much as I do!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My approach with a new student partially depends on their skill level. For a beginner, we discuss goals, athletic background, and current knowledge of the game. For an established golfer, I will talk about their current golf game. We will discuss strengths and weaknesses, stats, physical limitations, and then set realistic goals. I will then look at their swing, and talk about tendencies, then set a blueprint for achieving their goals.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that is not a cookie-cutter swing teacher. There is so much more to playing golf than "golf swing, golf swing, golf swing".
Find a teacher that uses a Trackman--they are very rare in Denver. Every PGA Tour player and coach uses one... for a reason!
