Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you are new at golf, welcome to the best game in the world! I will help you get a solid foundation so you can start hitting golf shots solidly and in the direction you are aiming. From there we can get you playing better golf than most self taught players pretty quickly. I look forward to working with you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Played professional golf on mini tours for 3 years.
Caddied professionally for 8 years.
Been teaching golf for over 10 years.
Titleist Performance Institute certified.
Trackman University certified.
Golf Management School graduate.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$65 per 1/2 hour golf lesson.
$120 per hour golf lesson.
Discounted lesson packages available.
How did you get started teaching?
When I decided that I wanted to learn how to play golf at age 11, my parents got me a 10 pack of golf lessons from a great golf teacher. Those lessons enabled me to go on to win golf tournaments at a young age, collegiately and as a proffesional golfer. Because of these accomplishments I have a lot to pass on to any skill level golfer, and I love teaching the game of golf!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many beginners who don't know how to hold a golf club and many single digit hanicap golfers. Also, everything in between. The average golfer scores in the mid to high 90's. Most golfers hit a slice. Especially with Driver. I fix problems like these regularly.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
After working with a student for 10 lessons which included full swing, short game, and some mental game advice, They shot a score 8 shots lower than their previous low score ever for 18 holes. That's huge!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Give me a call. Ask any questions you have. I’d be happy to talk to you about your golf game and help you get a plan on how you can best improve and reach your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Really you just want to come in with an idea of what you want to change or get better at. A good coach will ask you those questions before any instruction starts.
