What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start you out with ground work and then we get you on the horse in a western saddle and we take you all the way down the road.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a AQHA Professional Horseman with a life time of experience from the show pen to ranch work
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
the minimum is $100.00 per lesson base on a hour class. This fee includes the horse tack and the instructor for one hour. I do offer special deals at times. I also offer deals for horseshow kids in 4H AQHA youth programs. I can do drive ins. Please contact me for information.
How did you get started teaching?
As I started horse training people started wanting to know how I did my program.
And how to get there horses to work like mine.
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with adults that want to learn how to develop a horse and be able to work with it safely. I do some kids if they are horseshowing
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Winning the Quarter Horse Congress not once but twice. It was a great But being able to work cattle with a good cow horse is so much fun too.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure you're comfortable with your instructors. And don't be afraid to ask questions.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Type of riding and what goals do you want to achieve. And his or her back ground. Does he have the same thinking as you. And remember you can't learn this overnight it takes time
