About
As a PGA Associate Professional and the winner of the 2025 Connecticut PGA Section Assistant’s Championship, Chris brings a well-rounded and deeply personal perspective to the game of golf. A graduate of Fairfield Prep, where he was a member of the varsity golf team, he developed his passion for the game early at H. Smith Richardson, where he has been a familiar face since the age of 10.
Upon graduating from Fairfield Prep, Chris proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, including a deployment to Iraq. The discipline, focus, and resilience he developed during his service continue to shape his approach to both teaching and the game itself.
After his military service, he pursued competitive golf, playing professionally on various mini-tours. These experiences competing at a high level give him valuable insight into course management, mental toughness, and performance under pressure.
Chris is especially passionate about the short game, which he considers the foundation of lower scoring and long-term improvement. His teaching philosophy centers around the belief that every golfer has a unique, natural swing. Rather than forcing changes, he works with each student’s individual tendencies to help them play their best golf.
