I have been teaching privately and performing many years in this area. I have a Bachelors of Music in performance, clarinet major, with minors on flute and piano. My goal is to bring each student up to their highest level, breaking typical norms set by age or grade. Also, as ensemble playing is so important from the earliest stages, I play along with lesson material and play duets with students as often as possible. Bennett Mazzola Music is my business name and I am a performer/instructor for over 40 years. I hold a Bachelor of Music- Performance degreeI and enjoy teaching students from 6 years old through 91 years old. Having played in CT All State Orchestra and Band, I understand the audition process and often work with students for entrance to concert bands, orchestras, and smaller groups.
