Their professional trainers are of the highest quality and cover a variety of disciplines including hunt seat equitation, jumpers, eventing, and dressage. Our daughter has been training with Richard Luckhart for about 1 year, as she transitioned from competing over fences at 2’ to 2’6”. During this time, her equitation improved, and she consistently placed well throughout the season in this move advanced division. We greatly appreciate Richard’s patient, low-key, no drama style both during lessons and at shows. He is also a respected course designer and judge for USEF and IEA sponsored shows. His unique perspective has helped our daughter understand what judges are looking for from competitive riders.

This barn also has the best schooling and lease horses. providing many options for those who do and do not own a horse/pony.

Ive been riding horses at Mystic Valley Hunt Club for over 10 years. The facility is superb with two indoor riding rings and 3 outdoor rings. The property is beautiful with gentle slopes, fields, and wooded trails. The trainers are excellent and encouraging at every level. The owner of the barn is trustworthy and honest. There are many options at this barn from casual riding, competitive riding, team riding through IEA, and multiple shows held on site each year. There are schooling horses as well as borders. I would highly recommend Mystic Valley from beginner riders to adult as there is something for everyone. Its been a pleasure to ride there!

Deb from Mystic Valley is a fantastic instructor! She is patient, fun, and truly knowledgeable. Deb uses her on own extensive riding experience to help guide her students to their own goals whether it be in the show ring or just for pleasure.
