With a lifelong passion for horses and over five decades of equestrian experience, Sky-T's riding instructor brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and leadership to the Central Florida equine community.

Originally from Germany, her equestrian journey began in Hamburg in 1970 before continuing her education in Warendorf, home to one of Germany's oldest and most prestigious equine training institutions. Since relocating to Central Florida in 1989, she has provided quality instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, including children with special needs.

Specializing in beginner and amateur riders, she is passionate about teaching the fundamentals of horsemanship and helping students build a strong foundation in horse knowledge, safety, handling, and riding skills. Her patient, hands-on approach fosters confidence both in and out of the saddle.

Instruction is offered in a variety of disciplines, including:

- English Riding & Showmanship

- Dressage (Training Level and Level One)

- Basic Hunter/Jumping

- Western Pleasure

- Halter

For more than 25 years, she has served as a dedicated leader within the Orange County 4-H Program. Through the Dirty Jeans 4-H Club, she hosts multiple horse shows annually at Clarcona Horseman's Park and actively participates in equestrian events throughout Florida. Her commitment to mentoring young riders extends to providing opportunities for rescued horses and their riders to develop, compete, and achieve success in the show ring.

A proud mother of three, she has watched her children excel in both 4-H and AQHA competitions, earning numerous awards and accolades along the way.

Sky-T Stables is home to monthly Dirty Jeans 4-H Club meetings and welcomes families interested in learning more about the program and its private facilities. As a nonprofit organization, Dirty Jeans 4-H relies on member donations and riding lesson proceeds to support its educational and community initiatives.

In addition to teaching and horse care, she co-manages Sky-T Stables in Apopka, Florida, maintaining an active presence at the barn throughout the week. Riding lessons are currently offered on weekday evenings and weekends.

Her mission is to inspire the next generation of horsemen and horsewomen by fostering responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and compassion. Through hands-on experiences with horses, students gain confidence, develop lifelong friendships, and cultivate a lasting appreciation for the outdoors, animals, and the equestrian lifestyle.
