About

Hi my name is Barb Bunkowsky. I played on LPGA tour for 17 years. I have 33 years of golf teaching with adults and juniors. I taught at the first tee where I gave juniors to learn golf skills and then have fun with competitive games.

My passion is to give a student for the first time to understand how to hit a golf ball. I take the students natural ability to create a golf swing that lets them enjoy the game.

Barb is very patient and understands how to get her student to grasp a concept. She doesnt rush and will keep finding a way to make the point, even if you dont get it the first time.
Always on time and doesnt cut lessons short. My game has definitely improved over the two years Barb has been working with me.

My father owned a golf course so I have been playing since she 10. Joined the LPGA from 1983-2000.   Played in pro-and and did clinics and teaching all year.

Played the Women's Legend tour from 2005-2016 teaching and playing pro-and and doing clinics

I work with adults and juniors.  I can do private or group lessons depending on what they need

I have done junior camps for the last three years   We do golf skills and competitive golf games.  It is a fun filled packed week for the juniors

I would look at their condentials. Most of all I would look at how long they have been teaching.

Students should consider if they want to get better to be able to compete or they want to learn to be able to play the game socially. This gives the teacher their plan of attack. Students should have long and short term goals.
