The teachers methodology is excellent, our daughters progress is fantastic. I must say that my daughter did not know the sport and today it is one of her passions and abilities that she enjoys.

Chip understands the golf swing and can see your flaws. He can then explain how to correct the flaw in an understandable manner.

Chip is a great instructor. He works well with kids and teaches good foundational skills and approaches to the game, while encouraging them to have fun. I highly recommend Chip to anyone looking to get your kids started with the game or to help get them to their next level of potential.

    Frequently asked questions

I have played both as a professional and as an amateur. No matter what your golf experience may be, I guarantee we all have one thing in common. We all desire to shoot lower scores!

I believe the key to shooting lower scores is to learn how to be more consistent with every club in the bag. I have taught over 30,000 private lessons from beginners to professionals. By successfully coaching hundreds of students, I have valuable experience and knowledge in teaching the proper fundamentals and techniques that are necessary to help lower your scores.

The key to obtain this goal begins with understanding consistently cause and effect. The first step in achieving this is to have a good foundation. By learning how to have the proper setup, position and alignment, we will build from the ground up a more consistent golf swing.  Which in return will begin the proper foundation in understanding how we need to implement a change with your “cause and effect.”

The next step for consistency is to learn how to “Practice with a Purpose.” If you practice with the incorrect fundamentals of the swing, then you are practicing incorrectly. Learning how to practice correctly with proper instruction is the only way you are going to make outstanding progress and start playing better golf!

I played 4 years of varsity golf at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana.  I became the Assistant Golf Coach after graduation helping coach the team for a season and half.

I have coached and taught all ages and abilities from PGA Tour players to beginner golfers as young as age 3.

I was awarded in 2019 the U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Coach. The highest honor and award in junior golf.

Make sure the teacher is a PGA Member Professional specializing in golf instruction and coaching.  Then make sure you understand their teaching and coaching philosophy that they use during their lessons.  That way you can match what your golf goals are with what they personally believe in and use for every lesson.

How long are they interested in taking a lesson and how does cost effect that.
