With 23 years of Equestrian experience , Frederic specializes in coaching all levels riders. From beginners that like the connection with horses for trail rides and home lessons to advanced amateurs that like to improve in the ring showing in the high level classes, everyone is welcome. As a former rider at the prestigious institution “ Cadre Noir de Saumur” in France and European competitor in Eventing and Show Jumping, Frederic is also a very qualified horse trainer especially for the younger ones. He excels in choosing the perfect prospects and import them for riders or investors from Europe to USA.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first discuss the needs and wants of the student. I check his or her level . We set goals together and decide of a schedule. Then , Let the fun begin !!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25 years experience with kids or adults. From Pony to sports horses. From recreational to international level competition.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It all depends of the number of lessons. It can be 75 $ for a single lesson but we also the opportunity to work by month.
How did you get started teaching?
My passion for horse riding started when I was very young and I started teaching when I had my first degree in HOrse riding.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kind !!! Beginners, high level. Competition, recreational, adults, kids ...
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The WEF in Wellington is an incredible Festival. People are coming from all over the world. STudents are so happy to compet and show in this high class environnement ! I also love to work in other places like Kentucky or Spruce Meadow :)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please don't trust any people that tells you they can tecah you. Horse back riding is very subtil. I have a real experience and a real "savoir faire". HOrses are not motorbike.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is their goal ? Horses are a real commitment and riding is as exciting than difficult ! It is something that you have to consider seriously . Once you started, you 'll be hooked !!!
